Disaster Cast Notes

Each week you are being assigned to listen to the a Disaster Cast Episode.
Recall that in addition to listening to the podcast, you can read the transcript
for the episode that is posted on the Disaster Cast web site.

For each episode, I would like you to keep notes (and hand them into me for
evaluation) that records some of the main things that you learned from the
podcast.

Here are the specific requirements:
  - for each episode, 
    * write a short 1-3 sentence summary of the primary topic/theme of
    the episode.
    * identify at least three things that you learned from the episode
    (it would be great if you provide more, but you are required to provide at least three).
    Your description can be as short as few sentences, but you may find it most natural 
    to take up to a paragraph or two to explain things.
    For each of the things that you record, provide several sentences that explain why
    the concept is important to or relevant to system safety.


You will periodically submit to me your complete set of notes for me to review and comment
on.  The due dates for submitting the notes are as follows:
  - Sunday -- Sept 11
  - Sunday -- October 9
  - Sunday -- November 6
  - Sunday -- December 11

You may submit your notes as a plain text file, .pdf, or Microsoft Word file.
